PuREC has started a joint research project with Hokkaido University and Mochida Pharmaceutical to developnew treatments for spinal disorders.
PuREC will provide Hokkaido University with mesenchymal stem cells produced by high-purity purification from human bone marrow. Mochida Pharmaceutical will provide high-purity sodium alginate in gel form, which is undergoing clinical trials for repair material of biological tissues. Hokkaido University will merge these two cutting edge technologies to establish a new treatment method for spine-related diseases such as herniated disk/slipped disc.
